When something isn't serving you, you stop feeding it.
Thats how it slowly goes away.
By refusing to feed something, it burns itself off, and eventually dies.
That's when a true life can begin.
A life beyond the mind.
Beyond the tyranny that the mind creates.
And I can guarantee you, it is well over worth the effort.
I admit I was addicted to suffering.
Suffering reminded me of who I was.
It reminded me of who I thought I was.
It made me feel like a somebody (some-body)
So let the mind throw its pain chemicals for now.
Let it play its games.
Eventually, it will lose its power and fall back in line, as the servant of you.
That is its original role.
By sitting still daily, you remind yourself that you are stronger than your mind.
