Day 40 Entry

Tonight’s sit began quietly, without any big expectations. My body was still warm from training and the sauna. Breath fell into place on its own—slow, heavy, honest. The pulse underneath my skin was light, steady, like a quiet drumbeat keeping time.

Somewhere in that stillness, I must’ve slipped into sleep. Not the heavy kind, more like awareness taking a short nap. When I woke, it felt as if the body had kept meditating without me. Calm, gentle yawns followed. No rush, no drama—just a sense of having been reset.

Everything felt balanced. The gut was light from the day’s cleansing, the chest warm, and breathing was effortless. My mind didn’t chase anything. No grasping at the “right” experience, no need to name what was happening. Just a simple rhythm between breath and being.

Later, when I ate, the same calm carried through. Every bite felt like part of the meditation itself. Movement, taste, digestion—nothing separated from awareness.

This sit wasn’t about depth or fireworks. It was about returning to something natural. The moment where the body exhales and truth doesn’t have to be sought—it’s already there, breathing with you.
